I don't at all subscribe to the claims of astrology that the position of stars at the moment of our birth create a pattern of personality and psychological traits, and I find completely laughable the idea of the published paragraphs implying that the millions of us born under any given sign will share a common daily fate. However, as someone who loves working with psychological archetypes wherever they may pop up and exploring the meaning of coincidence and synchronicity, I hereby present my astrological makeup...
According to modern western astrology, Aquarius is the sign in opposition to Leo. With my sun sign and rising sign in opposition, then, it's no wonder that my life would feel like such a mass of contradictions.
Chinese Astrology
Sign: | Tiger (link 2)
"Tiger people are aggressive, courageous, candid and sensitive. You are hotheaded but have a magnetic character hard to resist. You love to take chances and rebel against authority. Look to the Horse and Dog for happiness. Beware of the Monkey." |
Element: | Water |
Containing Note: | Metal of Mirror
I have no idea what that means, but I found it somewhere in a reference to my birthdate in Chinese astrology. It sounds cool, though. |
So in Western Astrology I'm a Lion Water Bearer, and in Chinese Astrology I'm a Water Tiger. There's some synchronicity... but aren't cats supposed to dislike water?
